Version 1.4 began the Super Easter 2022 event as well as Season 3 of the Super Animal Pass. This update features 6 new Super Animal breeds, introduces a revamped S.A.W. vs Rebellion Control Point game mode, new S.A.W. Security HQ location, and various other gameplay improvements.
Features[]
- Super Easter 2022 event begins with 8 new cosmetics and 18 returning legacy items.
- Season 3 begins.
- Super Animal Pass Season 3 featuring; 28 new items.
- Season 3 Starter Pack DLC released.
- S.A.W. vs Rebellion Control Point game mode, reworked from the original S.A.W. vs Rebellion game mode.
- 8 Condensed battle maps, and 5 classes to choose from.
- 6 new Super Animals; Super Chimera Cat, Super Himalayan Cat, Super Cheetah, Super Chihuahua, Super Poodle and Super African Wild Dog.
- New S.A.W. Security HQ location.
- New Flower Bundle and some new S.A.W. Shop items.
- Can now use S.A.W. Tickets to purchase Tiers in Super Animal Passes.
Changes[]
S.A.W. vs Rebellion[]
- Super Animals are now able to respawn shortly after death.
- Play area is restricted to a certain location, Super Skunk Gas no longer moves.
Mole Crates and regular loot (e.g. guns and powerups) will not appear in this game mode, but
Tall Grass and destructibles will still drop their usual pickups.
- Upon death, players will now drop some
Ammunition, and have a chance to drop some
Health Juice and
Super Tape.
- Players can only pick up ammo usable by the weapons in the class they selected. Ammo despawns after 30 seconds.
- Players can no longer drop items.
- Healing from
Dogna's Dart Gun will stack in this mode, but healing is still delivered over time. (Example: if a player hits their teammate twice, the second dart’s healing time will add on top of the existing duration, rather than replace it like it does in Animal Royale game modes.
- Stats will be tracked separately in a new category. Player's can still view their S.A.W. vs Rebellion/Legacy stats on the stats screen if they've played it.
- Kill & win challenges can still be completed in this mode, but kill & win milestones cannot.
- Gravestones and any sleeping Mini Animal pets next to them fade out after death in this game mode.
- At the end of a match, top players and those who achieved notable stats will be highlighted.
The Bwoking Dead[]
Skunk Bomb no longer appears.
All Game Modes[]
- 4 legacy Easter Bows have been moved into Cackling Carl's Cart: Blue Bow, Yellow Bow, Pink Bow and Easter Bow.
- Reduced minimum time between
Hamster Ball bounce sounds from 0.7s to 0.35s, which fixes some cases where repeat bounces wouldn’t play any sound.
Hamster Balls now stay in their full-damage mode more consistently.
- A
Delivery Mole will now personally deliver player's cosmetic items or
Carl Coins at the end of a match.
- New music and sound effects at the end of a match for victory and defeat.
- "Mark Map” and “Remove Marker” hotkeys will now display for keyboard users on the map screen.
- Event screen’s leaderboard does a more obvious blip animation now when starting in a closed state.
- Skunk Bombs now display a ring to make their area of effect clearer, and to help distinguish between player's allies’ bombs that won’t hurt them (white ring) and ones that will hurt them (red ring).
Big Clucking Gun changes:
- BCG reload time has been reduced from 2.2s to 1.8s.
- Self-inflicted damage from BCG eggs has been increased from 50% to 65% of their normal damage.
- Minimum charge time for BCG shots has been increased from 0.08s to 0.10s.
Fixes[]
- Super Shooting Gallery targets can now be hit mid-air by
Big Clucking Gun eggs.
- Fixed
BCG charging up unnecessarily if a player had an empty clip while rolling.
- Fixed several spots around the Super Animal World where
Giant Emus could get stuck in potentially viable paths.
- Fixed soft crash when viewing and walking away from SMOMA artwork before it could load.
- Fixed rare bug where
Crates would become indestructible.
- Fixed glitch in the Shop where
Carl Coins or
S.A.W. Tickets icons could disappear temporarily.
- Fixed 1 second invulnerability after being downed not applying to all types of damage.
- Fixed
Campfire animations becoming jittery when near the bottom of the screen.
- Fixed
Mole Crate sometimes not fading if a player stood at certain spots behind it.
- Fixed small glitch where the
Hamster Ball was doing > 101 damage on ice.
