The JAG-7 is a shotgun that fires a cone of 7 pellets, individually dealing a small amount of damage, together adding up to more than a Super Animal's entire health bar. It is extremely effective at close range, but suffers at a distance.
As long as enough pellets connect with a target, a shotgun blast can strip all Armor. However, a single shotgun blast cannot damage both armor and HP at once, meaning even if all 7 pellets connect with an animal wearing level 1 armor, they will lose their armor but take no HP damage.

- Secret Rooms may contain JAG-7, with two boxes of 5 Shells each.

Strategy[ | ]
JAG-7 deals high damage when all the pellets hit, taking 2 full impact shots to take down an opponent with any level of armor. This makes it powerful in close combat and narrow spaces.
It is advantageous to use cover to close the distance to the opponent or to plan an ambush at a dead angle, waiting for the opportunity to eliminate the opponent.
It is a great weapon for camping, most players will use it during the final circle when they hiding in an unsuspected place and ambush their enemies at close range.

Damage output of each pellet depends on the distance it travels it before it hits the target. A pellet fired from the JAG-7 can travel up to 43 / 47 SAU, or 344px / 376px.

- The closest real world counterpart as well as main inspiration for this weapon is the Techno Arms PTY MAG-7.
- JAG-7's name and appearance is a pun on JAGuar.
- Despite having a big cat's roar in the gun's firing sound effect, the roar comes from a tiger and not a jaguar.
- While JAG-7 in-game is a semi-automatic shotgun, It's closest real life counterpart, the MAG-7, is a pump-action shotgun.
- The Dragon JAG-7 skin produces flame effects upon firing the weapon that is unique to that skin.
Patch History[ | ]
- JAG-7's bullet range was decreased again from 54 / 58 to 43 / 47 with damage at max range increased from 7 / 8 to 14 / 15.
- JAG-7 bullet range reduced since they were stripping armor too easily at long ranges.
- Weapon recoil is non-random for the first few shots in a spray, but then becomes random after that. Automatic weapons such as the SMG or AK have 8 shots as non-random, but others like the Magnum or Deagle have 2. The Sniper goes random after its first shot, similar to its current version.
- JAG-7 added to the game.
