The game features an ever expanding number of cosmetics. Currently the game has 989 different cosmetic options. Players can only equip one item in each slot. Most of them are obtainable through; drops or item shops such as Cackling Carl's Cart, while some special cosmetics are obtainable only by buying Downloadable Content for the game such as the Founder's Edition, completing Super Milestones, submitting clips that are chosen to feature in SAR Tonight, or were only available during events. However cosmetic items do not grant you any competitive advantage and are only for looks. There are 9 different categories of cosmetic items.
