Bots are ingame CPU used to fill in empty player slots. Their AI is currently underdeveloped, so they don't pose much of a threat beyond their aim.
Behavior
- Bots will not attack until they have picked up a gun.
- Bots will never hold down attack and instead fire individually. They do not detect cooldown or autofire.
- Bots will always go for the first weapon they see, except when another bot is currently targeting that weapon.
- Bots do not roll unless their health reaches below 50%.
- An injured bot will always walk just of screen and begin healing after killing another player/CPU. They do not seek cover while doing so and will not react to other players unless attacked.
- Bots do not detect armor, grenades, bananas, coconuts, or mole crates.
- Bots will stick with the first 2 weapons they acquire. They cannot detect weapons after acquiring two and thus will not attempt to seek better weapons.
- Bots focus on the first player they see and will not attack other targets until their current target is dead or no longer visible.
- Bots can detect player direction movement and can properly lead shots. This makes their shots quite accurate.
Appearance
- Bots can appear as any species through the level 10 set.
- Bots can only be base breeds and will not appear as alternates.
- Bots can have any item that can be randomly acquired after a match.
- Bots will not wear items unlocked by winning rounds, or unlocked through the founders pack or late night.
