Inventory Management HUD

The  Dogna's Dart Gun has 6  Specialty Ammo of Preloaded Ammunition which cannot be retrieved from it. 35  Specialty Ammo is Extra Ammunition that remains even after the Dogna's Dart Gun is dropped.

Ammunition is a consumable that Super Animals must use to fire Guns. At the start of the game, each Gun spawn is surrounded by two Ammunition pickups, so the Gun can be used right away. Super Animals can also find Ammunition after breaking open Crates, cutting Tall Grass with a  Melee Weapon, or as loot dropped by killed Super Animals. Ammunition is automatically collected when a Super Animal moves over it, unless they cannot carry more of that specific Ammunition type.

Ammunition can be preloaded into a Gun, or belong to the extra supplies. The amount of Extra Ammunition is displayed at the bottom right of the screen, while the Preloaded Ammunition is shown next to the icon of the currently equipped Gun. Preloaded Ammunition cannot be retrieved from a Gun.

It is not possible to pick up Ammunition not used by own class. Ammunition pickups disappear after 30 seconds if they are not collected.
